Everything people ask before staying, hosting, or celebrating at the ranch. The Ranch
What is AWKN Ranch?
AWKN Ranch is a twelve-acre wellness retreat and event property in the hills of West Austin, Texas. Guests come for overnight stays, hosted retreats, weddings, corporate gatherings, and community events, supported by wellness amenities across the land. Within Center, a psychedelic therapy clinic, is our sister practice on the same property.
Where is AWKN Ranch located?
We are at 7600 Stillridge Dr, Austin, TX 78736, in the hills of West Austin — about ten minutes from downtown and fifteen minutes from Austin-Bergstrom International Airport. Close enough for guests to arrive easily, far enough that the city disappears once you are through the gate. Visits are by appointment only.
Can I visit without booking?
Visits are by appointment only, and the gate stays closed unless we are expecting you. To see the land, book a stay, schedule a private tour through the contact page, or join a public gathering from the community calendar.
What is the relationship between AWKN Ranch and Within Center?
They share the same land and the same care, with different roles. AWKN Ranch is the hospitality side: stays, venues, events, and wellness amenities. Within Center is the clinical side — a psychedelic therapy clinic offering ceremonial ketamine therapy and psychiatric care, with its own site and intake process.
Stays & Lodging
What kinds of lodging does AWKN Ranch offer?
Three kinds: the Retreat House, a seven-bedroom main house that sleeps up to 22; two canvas yurts, the Bali and the Barcelona; and the Honeycomb geodesic dome. Every space books directly on the site with live availability.
What is included in an overnight stay?
The land itself. The saltwater pool, hot tub, cedar saunas, cold plunges, hammock garden, fire pit, pickleball court, and open-air temple are woven into your experience as an overnight guest rather than sold separately, with services like massage and sound journeys available by appointment. See services for the full list.
When is check-in?
Check-in for overnight stays opens at 3pm. Day visits run Monday through Saturday, 9am to 9pm, by appointment.
Hosting, Weddings & Events
Can I host my own retreat at AWKN Ranch?
Yes. Facilitators and teachers rent the ranch for retreats — from single spaces up to a full-property buyout with lodging for your whole group, the Temple, the domes, and the wellness amenities. Start on the host-a-retreat page for spaces, dates, and rates.
How many guests can the ranch hold for a wedding or event?
The Temple holds about 100 guests, and the new Maloka Dome — opening October 1, 2026 — holds up to 112. For larger celebrations, a full ranch buyout combines both spaces with the grounds. Overnight, the Retreat House sleeps up to 22 of your guests on site. See weddings for packages.
Can I rent the entire ranch?
Yes. A full ranch buyout gives your group all twelve acres with no other guests: every venue, all lodging, and the wellness amenities. Buyouts are quoted as custom proposals — start on the ranch buyout page.
Do you host corporate retreats and offsites?
Yes. Teams use the ranch for offsites, leadership gatherings, and working sessions, usually with the Retreat House as the base and the Temple or domes for sessions. See corporate & private events to plan one.
Can we bring our own caterer?
Yes. The Retreat House kitchen is chef-built, and you can bring your own chef or caterer or hire one through us.
How far in advance should we book a wedding?
Couples booking October through May dates typically reserve nine to fourteen months ahead. If you have a date in mind, start with a tour and an inquiry through the weddings page.
Wellness & Experiences
Does AWKN Ranch offer psychedelic therapy?
Clinical care happens through Within Center, the psychedelic therapy clinic on the same land. Within offers ceremonial ketamine therapy, including a five-day residential retreat hosted at the ranch. All medical screening and intake run through within.center.
Are there public classes and events?
Yes. The community calendar lists yoga, sound baths, breathwork, and seasonal gatherings that are open to the public. Most other amenities are reserved for overnight guests, retreat participants, and event hosts.
Booking
How do I book a stay?
Book directly on the site. The booking page shows live availability for the Retreat House rooms, yurts, and Honeycomb Dome, and each space has its own page with rates and details. No account is required.
